Question Bluetooth?

Has anyone been able to get thier hands on a factory Bluetooth installation for the 2006 Civic? I read some other forums and found that this option is available in Canada, but no dice for the US. Just curious if anyone has tried to install the canadian solution. I have EX Coupe Navi if this helps.

Bummer

Thanks for checking into that for me! Maybe we'll see it in the future...

Here is the link

I found this link to Civic accessories and it lists the Blue Tooth as an option, but I do believe this is a civic not available in our market.

I found this site:

Again, probably not for the US market.

We'd have to run on the Canadian software, and see if the part numbers are the same to make sure the bluetooth unit would connect. Most likely more trouble than it's worth.

Re: Bluetooth?

so far, the only thing i can tell you is that i have a Motorola integration kit that my dad and i installed (totally integratable if you get the nicer model) mine uses its own little speaker which we custom-mounted flush into the center console by the driver's footwell and we put the little control panel on the left hand side of the steering wheel and routed the wire along the rest of the wiring to where we mounted the actual bluetooth box, right underneath the gearshift (remember, cable-operated tranny) the only tricky part and possible reason to have a pro do it is putting in the mic b/c you have to run the mic wire up the A-pillar but can anyone guess what's in the A-pillar now? thats right, an airbag. also, you want to be careful of the doorseal, which i believe you have to pull back. Its a b#$%h to get back on to where it stays straight. I think this would work with most systems, just check compatibility or, better yet, get a motorola phone since they make some of the best bluetooth kits.
P.S. the nicer, higher-end kits integrate completely into the car, utilizing the stereo speakers rather than a dedicated (and dingy) mono speaker.
