XM Satellite Radio + NAV

If you have the factory NAV system do you just need to activate the radio ID# and you are all set? Or is there another dealer hidden charge? All users with the NAV system what are your thoughts VS. Toyota's or an aftermarket one such as a Garmin or TomTom?

Should just need the radio ID. XM comes with a 3 month subscription, so the piece is already there.
