Blocks and Revs

SCC did an article on this but I forgot which it is. Does a short block rev faster and rev higher or is it the long blocks? Thanks.

I think you mean 'stroke' instead of 'block'. Higher revving engines typically have shorter strokes.

short block =engine no head
long block=engine with head!

;-)

And yes like he said, the smaller the stroke the faster the rev.

(example think of a Sport Bike)
