is it possible to pull that reverse 180 with our vic?
oh god you must be shitting me ....lol. umm..ok, considering the car is AWD im not sure. if they disabled it, im guessing they would have made it RWD. to answer your question, im going to have to say no (not sure) but what i know we can do is if you put it in reverse, start going, swing it around, put it in 1st, and drive off. ive done that one.

Yes, reverse 180's are possible in our cars. Not nessicarily going down the interstate, but from a dead stop floor it in reverse, rev it high, slam on the brakes (clutch too in a manual) spin the wheel in the desired direction, and spin.
This was done in my 01 lx sedan, if I had an ex with anti-lock brakes it would be different, but being able to lock up the brakes and slide is one thing I love about my car. Also, tire compound matters too, this was done on the stock firestones, performance tires may hinder your sliding ability.

I took my ABS off my EX and i read don't go faster than 45 MPH you may flip the car!!! and lower you tire pressure a lil or they may rip off and you will flip your car. Have fun
its should be even easier to do it in fwd cars
but not at that speed....it is possible
i'll try it but if i don't respond to this thread with couple
dayz....my aftermarket parts are up for grabs...

wouldn't you be red lining at 45 MPH?? and if you're going from like 4th gear to like reverse, you'd prob blow your engine! iamboo's friend was driving and he was like very new to cars! and while he took off, he went 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! Race! (Reverse) and BOOM!!
Once I accidently tried to put it in reverse instead of 4th (yeah I know but i was learning to drive stick and all) .. anyway it didn't even go into reverse, just this nice grinding sound, and on the movie at the speed they were going ... well I guess they don't show engines blowing in the movies, even though it would be badass

Oh Jesus Christ! Please dont try putting your car in reverse while driving along in a forward gear! Think of riding a bike while going forward at a good speed isn't it damn near impossible to just kick it in reverse? now think how that would work with your tranny... oh yeah major 'boom' nice pieces of beautifully crafted Honda pieces allover the road. FYI You can only go in reverse up to like 20 mph? i forget. The only way the 2F2F trick would work would be to take it outta gear when you do that 180 and let the car coast i dunno

dont think they put it in R while driving, i think they pulled the handbrake and slide the car 180, after the successful slide the car was at 0 for less than a sec, thats when they shifted to R....
