Laying carbon fiber (help)

Okay, im going to start laying carbon fiber with a friend and we are going to do some interior parts on the car. This is just a test becasue we have never done it before but I read an article and I am going to give it a try. If you have ever done this please respond and let me know how you did it. This is what i have so far.

Materials needed:
Carbon Fiber weave matieral (im getting 3000k)
Epoxy Resin
Reactive catalyst
Face masks
paint brushes
sanding material
clear coat (if you want)

Basically you take the part you want. I going to test on one of the A Pillers in the car. Start off by scratching up the surface so it will saturate the surface. Lay a carbon fiber sheet over the pillar and have it wrap around. Mix up the epoxy resin and the hardner. Have the masks on to evade the fumes and take the paint brushes and apply the resin. After it drys, sand it to a smooth surface and then clear coat.

If you have done this before please respond and help me out. I am going to buy some carbon fiber material from a compony on monday and I think i will start with 8x8feet to have a little extra just in case it comes out good and then buy more as needed. If your a carbon fiber layer then let me know what you think.

Thanks
