Why do you need to adjust you drums, what happened? Just curious.

I'm sorry i don't have any info on this subject, but i would not try playing w/ my brakes, unless i knew what i was doing. If you mess up the F/R bias, you could mess up your braking performance by a lot. (butt feelings don't count, as far as adjustments you make go..)
I would not reccomend a DIY either. If you don't know what you are doing, you should not play w/ your brakes.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
don't start a thread with DIY because you are asking a questions, not providing info... thanks....

Just put a ? in the title, so we know your looking and not providing,
I was ready to print this one =)

Yes adjusting your drum brakes is not brain surgery, the dealership does mine every time I take it in for an oil change.

It should be in a Chilton Your local library will have one.

Sorry I haven't done mine yet, but if anyone post a DIY I would be interested.

i haven't had the ***** to play with my drums yet, but from what i understand from school is that there is a star adjuster connected to the shoes. find an empty parking lot and reverse at about 15-20 mph and hit the brakes hard, but don't lock them. do this a few times and the rear drums should be agjusted accordingly. I've done this a few times and it seems to work.
