Struts for hood any help.

ok I am wondering how to put some struts on my hood instead of using the little bar to hold it up....since I am always under the hood doing something i'd rather not have the bar in my way. Anyone got a DIY on how to switch it to struts?? Any help will be appreciated.

Should be same as the DIY trunk shocks, but maybe 50lbs ones.

thers only one proble; one of the main parts of the DIY trunk shocks is climbing inside your trunk to measure stuff with it closed; id like to see someone here climb inside their engine bay with the hood shut.
