INtake filter
INtake filter
How far up does the filter go on the intake pipe? Also i have the obx intake,(the ingen copy), does the o2 sensor go on the elbow on the throttle body or on the tube, and how do you install it? Also i started m car already b4 i have the pipe to th engine and o2 sensor on and dar smoke came out my muffler, what is this from?
the filter should go on about an inch or so.. just enough so the metal clamp thingie can get a good grip on it when your tightening it. on the injen intake... theirs alittle piece of tube that you stick in the hole on the elbow, and then you stick the theometer inside of the tube that you just put in the intake (if that makes sense) and then you take the bigger hose from the intake and connect it to the throttle body, just as the stock intake was. as far as smoke comming from your muffler...my only guess is that something got sucked into the engine when you started your car and it got burnt up or something.. thats my best guess.. let me know if you need anything else

the dark smoke is probably the result of a not well-mixed (if that's a word) fuel and air. So you probably should do a sensor reset. Look for the FI ECU sensor (15amp) in the fuse box. Take it out for 10min. After you put it back in, start the car (don't press gas and leave it idle), and wait 10min. Then turn off and turn on and turn off. Finally turn on the car if you got somewhere to go or want to test your car.
EDIT: I should probably mention that the reset only works if you actually put the intake sensor in the Intake already...that would only make sense, but just to make sure
