maintenance req. light?

maintenance req. light?

i was driving around today and stopped by a friends house..when i was about to leave i see the maintenance required light blink..about 10 times...i dont know why this is happening..all i have is a shortram intake nothing else...i installed the intake about 2montsh ago..any clue to why the light is blinking?

Read your owners manual. It tells you how to reset the light. It comes on around 8000 miles and then at different intervals on up. Honda just wants you to service the car. Nothing is wrong.

Page 64 in your manual.

turn off the light just by holding your TRIP button for a couple seconds before turning your car on, then just keep holding it even when it starts, wait a bit (until it stops flashing), then just turn your car to the ON position (while still holding that trip button )then back to start, but you dont need to crank it.
