can anyone help me out. i installed the vtec light as were posted in the instructions. my light stays on all the time whenever the ignition is turned on. it dosent kick in when the vtec is susposto engage. also, i cant seem to get a solid ground to a phillips head screw under the dash, i simply found a different place to ground it, but the light is on all the time.

Are you sure you tapped the right wire? The only reason it would be on all the time is if you tapped a wire with power all the time.

I second that. It took me 3 tries before i got it right. Just was tapping the wrong wires. Theres 4 plugs to the ECU, use the second one (starting count from the bottom), its a white plug. Unplug that, then find the wire in the top row t hat is GREEN w/ a yellow stripe. Then tap it.

THANKS i fixed the problem like 10 minutes after i posted this. it frustrated me to death all day. i tapped a wire where the passangers right foot would be there are two plugs up under there the second plug has a green wire and a yellow stripe. that was my problem!!!! also, the wire splicers they recommend dont work worth a shi%t, you need to tap into the wire and solder your new wire to it.
