as dumb as this thread is i think you need to do a little more searching on this site and then you will reqalize that this car wasnt designed with the import modder in mind. The D17 is slow and cramped in a small bay. SC wont be made turbos are the only way aprt from N02 to get any major number jumps. Even then your not looking at crazi numbers. I for one am saving up to get a swap.

I know the k20 swap would be the best thing to do, but doesnt that just cramp the engine bay even more? Would you even be able to a turbo on it or other parts like that? sorry im still new
The K20 shouldn't take up much additional room, but as the exhaust manifold faces the rear, i really don't know how much room exists for the turbo & piping. however, you should be able to use most bolt- ons.
But unless you compare a civic w/ a K20 alongside an RSX, you can't be 100% sure. You could definitely do internals & i read that a K20 w/ head work flows as much as a S2000 head!!
Think stock K20- 200 crank hp v/s stock D17A2- 127 hp. Apart from a turbo/ NOS, you can't touch that w/ out major work (200 hp is about the limit, unles you have major $$ & custom work done)
Just add a good intake to the K20- 20 BHP. Headers will give you another 5 .... you will be easily way ahead of any built civics w/ a little work

oh wow i forgot about this thread.. if u wanna actually know about our engine just pm with your questions since i am one of the few that have actually taken it apart and have had some major work done to it.. just took my trans apart to bc i blew the sucker up finaly
