installing a rear sway bar question???

How do you get the endlinks off a 02 civic EX?? I am trying to install a progress sway bar and I can't get the endlinks off to put the new sway bar on.

you don't have to take the endlinks off. On one side is a hole for an allen wrench. You have to hold the bolt still or it will keep turning from the other side.

This is the front endlink but they look similar. You see where those for silver things are on the back of the endlink (opposite the wrench)? in there there is a hole for an allen wrench. Once you have that in place and hold it you can proceed with turning the bolts.
If you are replacing your endlinks with hotchkis ones, then sorry I don't know how to do that.

Those endlinks require you to put 200% of your muscle power. GOOD LUCK!

I don't think i'll be taking mine off anytime soon... lol

caps? um. i don't remember seeing any caps on mine.

Make sure you use have properly placed jackstands because you're going to be putting A LOT of muscle into those endlinks. You don't want the car to fall on ya...

Make sure you read the DIY throurougly (baaa, spelling?) on how to remove the endlinks. Remember that you must hold the allen wrench and ONLY turn the 14mm wrench.

Im just really confused now, where did you see this D.I.Y for taking of the endlink because I can't find it? Im talking about on the other side of the bolt there are four like gray/silver things and in those four little things there is something in the middle of them so you can't get anything inside it, how do I take that little thing in the middle out if that what I have to do?
someone tell me what Im doing worng?

The hole for the allen wrench is on the threaded end. Look at the picture robbclark1 posted and you'll see the black allen wrench sticking out of the end. You'll want to soak the end link in WD-40. Mine came off easy.

I meant the nut of the endlink. You do not have to remove the entire endlink... read the DIY.
