Struts need to be replaced?

I was wondering if I lowered my car +/- 1.5" , would i need to replace the struts too?
Which one has the best quality ride and handling ? Eibach, H&R, or Neuspeed ?
Do they have any adjustable struts available? Like KYB AGX?

Thanx

Koni is the only aftermarket strut available for our cars at this time. Tokico is coming out with one this year. Koni has adjustable damper.

I lowered 1.75" with Goldlines and stock struts. Still rides fine.

This has been gone over many times...just do a search and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

i lowered my car 1.75" and i'm still on factory struts, its only been a few weeks though, i'm told sooner or later you will need to replace the struts. just go easy on them and they should last you a while.

How long your stock shocks last depends on a bunch of variables. What types of roads you drive on. How hard you drive your car. If there were any defects from the factory. etc etc... I have heard of peoples shocks lasting only a few dys..other for years. But the moral to the story is they are going to go faster lowered than at stock height. I'm running a 2inch drop with stock shocks. It's been 6 months and they are fine. But my Koni yellows are in the garage waiting for them to blow.

Heard about koni yellow. I know koni is good but I thought you had to modify the front struts to fit our honda. Like cut the stock and use the sleeve or something like that. Or they have direct replacements rite now?
I wish AGX made for our honda. AGX is cheap and good.

Thanks guys

My car has been dropped 2.5" for a year and its rough but every car I've riden in when dropped is hard. My buddy works at the honda dealer tho and he said that my 2001 civic had problems with the struts leaking with just factory springs in them so depending on the year and road conditions. I've been lucky so far.
