I got 2 big dents and scratches on the hood of my car. A body shop wants $450
to fix the dents and repaint the hood. Will it be cheaper if I fix the dents and prime the hood myself, then take it to a body shop to get it repainted? Has anyone done this before? Does it worth the time and the money to DIY?
I know some people have prepared and primed their body kits before getting painted. Any help will be appreciated.

Any help will be appreciated. you could always get the ding king (as seen on TV). it works on dents quite well. otherwise i would get a new CF hood. its a great excuse to get one and you could probably find for less than it would cost you to repair you busted hood. hope this helps.
