I was wondering if anyone can help me out on the clearing of the stock tailights.I have seen a few people on the site do this, but I can not find any info about it(maybe it is the new layout of the site). any help would be appreciated I want to try something with them if I can clear them out
I THINK I've read that there is this one guy that bought aftermarket tails...took the clear cover off and put it on the stock ones. And there you go...clear stock tails. I think that works.

i'm guessin there is silicone around the tail lights like how there is some around the head lights. Just take a hair dryer and run it around parts of the tail, get a screwdriver and just try to pry the darn thing apart. If that doesn't work, just save up some money and buy aftermarket tails.

I already have aftermarket tails but wanted to try something different, without ruining the aftrmarket ones and trying something with my stock ones. Just in case it didn't work out I would still have my aftermarket ones
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

PleasJoe is the member who cleared his stock taillights. But what I think he said he did was this.
1. Removed the red cover off the stock lights
2. Removed the clear cover off of a set of Altezza lights
3. Glued the clear cover on the the stock lights
