It's not worth the money. It would probably be cheaper to trade your LX in for an EX.

Remember, the difference between the EX's 127HP and the LX's 115HP is only at the crank. To the wheels, it's much less. I don't know the drivetrain loss to our cars, but I'm guessing it's only 5HP or less to the wheels.

If you really wanted to, you'd need more than just the head. Yes, one of them would be the computer (ECU).

Smokie2k2LX - Is that true? The difference at the wheel is only by 1?

Why do the EXs lose more hp going to the wheel than LXs?

Hey man forget the negative post. At least youre triyng to do something with your car. Most people here are only talk and they dont know s#*&... I have a dx (no VTEC) and I installed the VTEC head last weekend. I'm going to try to dyno the car this weekend if I cant do it this weekend ill do it soon. I already dynoed it before installing the head so I could have some reference. I had a couple of things done to the head before installing so i wont be able to tell you exactly how much I gained from the head alone. I also installed a cam gear but i have it set to 0 degrees until I go to the dyno.

My last dyno gave me 114hp.
hoping to be in the 125-130hp.
Before you ask right know im throwing the switch manually beacuse im having trouble with my rpm switch, since im still using my stock ecu.
So in conclusion ill let you know what happens at the dyno
