just a quickie, anyone know how much current the stock headlights draw? i don't have my car with me right now to check, thanks.

ok so we know the wattage and the voltage right we can figure out the current using ohms law ... if you want ill figure it out for you

hehe.. Voltage = Current * Resistance (Ohms law right?)
umm.. so we got Voltage = 12, hmm.. where does wattage go in this Ohms Law equation.. maybe we need another equation?

The equation you need is simple. From Ohms Law there is a formula derived to find power. Quite simply:

Power = Voltage Times Current:

Rearrange the equation to get

current = power (W) / voltage (V)

Therefore if each bulb were 55 Ws and we have roughly 13.8 volts (car running) then we get

55W/13.8 = 3.99 Amps per bulb or about 8 amps for both
