Stripped screws, help!

These screws: http://www.2k1civic.com/diy/images/P1010031.jpg were apparently stripped when the idiot i had install my new headunit put it in. Does anyone know of a good size socket or something to get these buggers out?

They are either phillips screws or 8mm sockets. If the screw part is stripped, the 8mm socket should pull it out.

why dont you just use a vise grip? clamp it on there and twist.... that should do the trick

when it was my first time taking out those screws, i used a phillips screwdriver and kept turning till my face was blue. then i used a 8mm socket and it came out in one shot.

yeah, mine were a bitch to get out on my green civic. i just used the vice grip though because i didn't have a metric socket set at the time.
