N2O and FPR

Can someone tell me if in order to run N2O on my car i need an FPR or a fuel pump? I undesrtand that our cars have a returnless fuel system and that in order to use an FPR we might need to convert. But is that absolutely necessary? I am going to be using a VCN-1000 (venom n2o kit). I'd like to take all the necessary precuations in order to avoid detonation. So any other suggestions are welcome.

UM YEAH....nevermind. None of that is needed for the n2o kit.

But uh...any other suggestions? I was told that i have to get an RPM activator if i wanna have the kit cut off at a certain RPM...u know like lets say i wanna make sure it always cuts off at like 6500RPM's just in case. What do u guys think of that little precaution??

any other suggestions? This kit is goin in soon.

the cut off is the window switch, you can hook it up to come on at a certain rpm and then go off at another rpm. Very safe this way. You could also hook it up so it only comes on at WOT (wide open throttle) but it is not as safe as a window switch.

Well actually i'm doin both. I'm havin it spray at open throttle...as well as gettin the window switch (that's bein ordered today). I pretty much have all i need. Bottle warmer, bottle gauge, n2o gauge for upfront, gettin an air fuel gauge (althogh venom kits are programmed to automatically shut off if they see ur leaning out...it has a built in air fuel meter). I'd like to have a remote bottle opener and a purge. Purge mainly to clear the lines....and remote bottle opener mainly for convenience. The window switch is merely a precaution. Dont wanna risk me missin a gear (which doesnt happen often...but u never know). Hehe i wanna try to install the kit myself...but i will prolly get a tech friend to help. Better to isntall things urself sometimes that way when somethin goes wrong u can more or less figure stuff out and trouble shoot on your own.

Well the bottle warmer would prolly be more beneficial if you are looking for gains. reason being it keeps the temperature/pressure of the bottle at a certain psi. I believe 900 is optimal for performance. The purge is mostly cosmetic. Although it DOES serve a purpose. It cl;ears the lines from any n2o that might be in there. After a while it can liquify and you dont wanna be sprayin THAT into your motor. The tell tale white plume lets u know its ok to spray. IMO both items would be a good idea.
