Rep Power: 0 *NEW* N2O and V-AFC PICS
KK....postin this for those interested in performance stuff. Here are a few (i still need some more) pics of my n2o kit/install/whatever.
Here's the V-AFC location. I haven't tuned it yet. But so far it's working fine. Finished
installation on Sunday. Thanks so very much to 7thgencivic.com's DIY articles.
You can also see a bit of my short shifter here.
This is an overal view of my engine bay. You cant see the VCN-1000 from this angle...nor can
you see where the N2O nozzle goes into the intake. But I have an arrow pointing to where it
is (behind the intake)
Here's a closeup of where my solenoids are. My friend made me a bracket (Thank you
ANGEL..ur the bomb) down there. The Purge (NOS brand) solenoid is the one u kinda see in
the pic. If i remove my intake one day i will take a pic for u to see the other N2O solenoid. You
can also see the back of the VCN-1000 where the wiring harness plugs in...
Here's a pic of the VCN-1000 module. My friend (thanks again ANGEL you are THE MAN) made
me yet another bracket/holder for this cuz we had no idea where the hell to put it.
This is a pic of where the purge line was placed....
Pic of the interior. The switch and monitoring lights for the Venom kit are locared underneath
my stock CD player in the compartment that has a door. I've included a thumbnail closeup of
the switch box. The blue light is a status light. The green and red are rich and lean
(respectively). TO the far left is the engagement switch. When turned ON the n2o will spray at
WOT. You can also see my gauges mounted on the steering column. We will hide the n2o line
soon. From left to right....AIR/FUEL gauge and N2O gauge.
Pic of the N2O bottle and warmer setup in the back. My warmer switch and purge button are
under my ebrake. Sorry I didnt get pics of that I totally forgot but will post soon.
Hope you guys enjoy. I will try to get pics up of where the TPS sensor is tapped, where the fuel injectors are tapped, where the nozzle goes into the intake, and where my warmer and purge switch/button is located. Thanks again ANGEL for the set up!!! You're the man!
And uh..APS (Larry) thanks for the kit. Your 2k1 (r.i.p.) is livin vicariously through mine. Love ya!!! You're da best.
