no filter? i'd be a dumbass if i had no filter...its on there tho...i couldn't get the camera to fit all the way inside to take a pic of the filter...i placed the filter facing down toward the chassis...my other post says what i did and how i got my custom cai installed...

hmm.. not bad, but i thought you used a metal pipe to make the extension. Ah.. i was excited for a second.
edit: TopFuel made his entire intake with this stuff a year ago, be careful now... his filter came off after a few months.
Did you feel any gains over the SRI? or is it just louder. That setup doesn't look like it would flow air properly, looks like there would be alot of turbulance due to the flex pipe...but atleast you tried it right? good luck.

its cheaper to get a custom pipe made...and thats what i plan to do...i bought the aem intake when it first came out at $250 and i don't think i want to buy a new intake when i can make it a custom CAI myself...ketch my drift?
