I am happy with my JET ECU upgrade; it helped me get into the 15's down th 1/4 mile.

Only problem is that it cannot be used with N2O since it advances the
igniton timing by 5 degrees which would most likely lead to detonation.

you rip out your computer, ship it to jet, and then they send it back to you reprogrammed...

I've currently got get venom VCN-400 performance module, it just mounts under the hood and has a 4 wire conection, positive, negative, TPS, and MAP. it helps a little, probably knocks a few 1/10th's of the quarter mile. I am thinking of selling it because I need the cash, but whats nice is you don't have to send your ECU in and be without your car. If anyone is interested in the Venom PM me!

i'll go with the jet. you'll get more performance out of it instead of the venom.

Yes, I do have both. But, I also have 2 ECU's.

After having the JET ECU for a year, I wanted to have a quicker
time at the track, so I got sponsored by NX nitrous Express and
they shipped me a kit for the 2003 race season. I also bought
a CA emissions OEM ECU from a wrecked civic EX.

I now use the JET ECU for normal daily driving and switch over to
the other one when I want to squeeze. I have not ran my car with
N2O at the track yet. I was hoping to do it tonight, but the track is rained out. So, I will test it this Sunday. I have not updated my
members page yet, but will after this weekend...along with my new 1/4 mile time.

Bye the way... here is a pic from my member ride page that shows you the
location of the ECU secured by three 9mm nuts I believe behind the glove box. And yes it is a pain to get out the very first time.

you could but that would imply that you would have to run the shot of NO2 all the time...

I'll tell you this.. I have the VENOM 400 and i had it turned off all winter, but yesterday was pretty nice so I turned the venom back on... I drove home from work and when I got on the main road I punched it and I got knocked back in my seat pretty good. The venom DOES in fact make a BIG difference, not sure exactly how much... But I am glad I have it... It gives me the extra boost of power I was lacking all winter, but with snow on the ground I didnt need any extra power... so I think the venom 400 is actually a good investment and easy to hook up since you don't have to send your ECU back like jetchip...
I will do some gtech runs in the spring with the venon on and off to see if its in my head or how much it really helps.
