It's real simple. Just pull on the silver plastic ring on your stock ****. It will pop off. Unscrew the stock ****, and screw on the new ****. Pop silver piece onto new ****. Done!

when zeta says "pull" he actually means push downwards on the silver ring.

So, where did you guys pick up that RSX shift ****? It is the short/gray leather one correct? I think I saw a link to order it a while ago, but I heard that I could just go to the local dealership and order it. But, when I went to do so, they weren't exactly sure if it was going to be the Type S shift **** (6-speed) or the regular 5-speed one. So, I didn't get it.

It won't snap into anything. To keep the trim ring up against the shift **** you can buy a little rubber washer type thing. I bought one that's approximately these dimentions... 1/2" high, outside diameter of 3/4", inside diameter of 5/16", also, slight taper to make it look conical. Although a straight one would work just as well or better, couldn't find one like that though. Basically install that thing under the shift **** and under the trim ring. Then re-install the whole center console and screw on the shift ****. It'll push the trim ring down and the whole thing will be tight. I have some pictures of that in this thread: FS: Razo Onyx Ball Shift ****

Yeah, I did. I sold it for a profit though. Now I think I'll buy an OEM one for the RSX, the aluminum one for the 5-speed. Here's a link to some pictures though: DIY: E-Brake Adjustment
