Car Won't Start

I just finished washing my car. I washed the engine a little not a lot of water, only on the pillars. I was listening to the radio too. My car won't start but the radio works and so does my alarm. When I trun the key it starts clicking like carzy. WTF did I do

Not enough juice to start the car. Check the connectors to the battery and check the altinator. Check all grounds and power wires.

Yeah my battery's weak sometimes, especially in the cold. one morning it wouldn't start and was exactly as you described.

My mom keeps this brick-sized thing. It's a rechargable jump starter. If you ever need a jump start, you plug it into your cigar socket and then start the car. To recharge the jumpstarter, you plug it into you cig socket while driving! Neato! Very Handy, you might want to look for one of them.

If you have any friends that work at new car sales places, get a solar board from them. They come with most new cars (I know for sure they do with VWs.) Its a panel that you stick in your window (with suction cups) and it keeps the battery from draining as quickly. Its best used if you're leaving your car for a while and no one will be driving it. But I always put mine in in the summer when I'm listening to the radio. I'm pretty sure you can buy them, too. But they're like $100. My dad knows a manager at a VW place, so he got two for free.
