Silly Question wanting a serious answer
OK front wheel drive sucks for racing, so would it be possible to...flip the gearbox around so we'd have 5 reverse gears and 1 fwd gear[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

I don't know maybe if you took the tranny apart and then just put all the gears in backwards, that would probably work.
Just for the record I'm still joking and the answer is still NO, unless you have thousands of dollars and a guy who is really inventive in doing weird unusual stuff to cars for no reason. Even though I still doubt it, but with those combinations, you at least have a chance.

If you find a transmission from an engine that spins in the other direction (like a K series) Then the gears would rotate in the other direction and give you 1 forward gear. How you could get the D engine attached to a K tranny, good luck.

Rep Power: 0 What the hell would you do with 5 reverse gears any damn way? ... even in a nonpractical setting? & in my opinion, anybody that WOULD do something like that needs to find a better hobby
