Clutch Pedal Question

Moves the hydraulic fluid to actuate the clutch. I believe it's called the master cylinder. it converts the mechanical action of you pushing the pedal into fluid pressure.

sigh... thanks for not flaming too much. I was under the impression that the clutch master cylinder would be somewhat larger and connected to the arm that extends downward to the pedal... Hm... Guess not...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Hang on... Do you mean the cylinder that is attached to the actual pedal? As in the plate you put your foot on? That's just a stopper. Through the fire wall is the master cylinder. Inside the car is the neutral lock switch.
