This has been talked about before but there is a company that makes a kit for our cars. The site says we can only use the red kit, though. Anyone have any idea why?Importintelligence.com

The Reason why only the red kit works is because our needles arnt clear... look at the side of your guage cluster.... the needles have a grey plastic backing them.... and then a red plastic cover on top....
I am working on another way of getting blue indiglow needles.. with some white paint and a bit of custom work....

Yes this is correct...... i tried clearin my needles and there is a nother layer of red under the first layer of red.......
on the inside bottom of the need. Anyways that DIY indigo needle thingy ain't even made for our CAR....
so why try sumthin that isn't a sure bet

Well i just thought some people would want to know or try it. there are some hardcore DIY's on this site. Just passing info.
