Will this work?

Hey,I've been lurking for a while but i have a burning question.I know swapping my auto to a manual will be expensive-new tranny and labor......etc. My question is since our motors are still D series can we use a tranny from say a 6th gen or 5th gen? That would lower the price enough that it might actually be feasible.Let me know on this if it'll work im ripping this car apart in a few weeks

well put, if you have been lurking a while then you should have ran upon this question once or twice before. Its not worth the money or the time to do it you car is so new that it would be more cost beneficial to trade it in for a manual

In response to searching i did search and saw 2 topics about swapping a manual. There was nothing pertaining to swapping in a tranny from a previous gen civic. You people really do need to calm down about the "hit the search button fool!!!" thing, it gets old quickly-especially when there was nothing to be found from searching.
