oh my, did you really just ask this? if AEM makes 2 differnet intakes for the 2 different gen. civics then that should be a buzzer that tells you to buy the one that actaully is made for your type. why would you ask this?

the reason why i asked is maybe there is a way to modify it to work since i could get one at a good price. I figured it wouldnt fit but i though it wouldnt hurt to ask. I am not a complete retard. So flame all you want bitch, no need for a smart *** comment.

Injen was smart a located the filter as far away from the engine as possible and in the direct line of air flow. What they failed to realize is that the extra bend they put in it actually slows airflow. It's not enough to notice. Aem made a mistake when they made theres by making it too short. It rest up against the engine and right behind the radiator. No direct airflow. The bottom line is they are both metal so they heat up equaly. It is realy a personal preferance. I have the AEM but I wish I bought the Ingen just for the look and the location of the filter.
