Oil Leaking... need suggestions
Before anyone says to run to Honda.. Don't. Cuz it's my own damn fault.
I put in my oil pressure gauge 2 weeks ago, and something's been leaking oil very slowly (drops) ever since . I've taken it all apart and redid it (and bought a new oil filter), and it's still leaking. Which leads me to believe that the network of elbows and pipes I used is leaking from one of it's many joints despite the sealing tape and making sure it's tight. So first of all, anyone who read my DIY... I hope you didn't do it, cuz I gotta revise it. Would anyone suggest using braided stainless hose? Cuz that's all I can think of to replace it. That way there's only 2 joints in it. Or any other option you guys can think of? I'm pissed off at myself for screwing up, but I only wasted 10 bucks if I have to swap the pipe for $37 in hoses.

Yeah... They're all coated in sealing tape. And the Gauge is electric. So there's no problem with a line to a mechanical sender.

The sender is hooked up to the port in the engine that the idiot light sender is in (right above the oil filter). I put a few fittings in to add a T, the gauge unit is on 1 side, the stock one on the other. I have a pic, but the server is down, so I can't put it up. If the server comes back up, here's the assembly
try changing the line.if that doesnt work, do a oil pressure test on it.do u seee the oill dripping, or u cant see it?maybe it isnt even ur line.it could be something else...just keep looking for the leak..

is it leaking from your tranny? or your engine, you can buy ultra violet stuff to put in your engine, let it run for about 5 minutes take a black light in a dark place and you will find your leak... its that simple. Thats the solution to find the leak you can also get stuff to put in your engine to stop leaks in your engine wherever your oil runs to. All these things can be bought at kragen, the UV stuff in the air conditioning area, and the stop leak stuff in the chemicle aisle.

Yeah, so I fixed this a year ago. Someone can lock this. It was just a matter of shitty fittings vs. Stainless lines.
