REVO SS HELP!!!

I just installed the Revo and I've got a rattling noise when I shift in a up or down position. I'm thinking that it may be the ring on the 1st cable this one. I was wondering if it goes all the way down. I tried pushing it in, then lightly hammering it in but I didn't want to break it. Need to have the installation done by tomorow. Thanks in advance.

I had to hammer it down pretty hard to make it fit right.
Good luck!!! Mine did not break but I had to pound on it preety hard.

yeah that sound is pretty annoying. I just taped it down with electrical tape.

YeaI had that same problem when i first installed mine. It's the big metal piece at the front of the shifter. I just pouned on it with a hammber to make it snug..then i used silicon to make sure it doesn't come loose again. Have fun!

Thanks everybody. I ended up just using rubber bands to make it snug. I only plan on those being there for a few days until I begin to rip apart my car for my dynamat project. Great investment for those that have not yet bought it. I was skeptical about the possible 40% loss in throw, but I'll vouch for it and then some.

sh*t ... that metal piece was a B!TCH to get off. And when I put it back on, it didn't fit all the way no matter how hard I pounded it ... so ... *shrug* ... anyway, it's only a millimeter or two from being a snug fit
