How to remove the 12V outlet?

I got the trim piece off, but now I can't pull out the socket itself. How do you do it? There's a few tabs on the back that hold it into the panel, but none seem to give enough to release the socket. Help please....

CelCUs is an unknown quantity at this point
You just gotta pull it real hard. I did mine by getting 2 butter knives and using the blunt side wrapped in a skinny dew rag (or whatever you call them). I jammed one side of it on the top and one side on the bottom and just yanked REAL hard. Just put a lil' muscle into it

Yea, I removed mine to put in my push button start in the car there. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get it out.
