Need help with spring/strut question.....

apparently when I lowered my 2001 LX with Eibach springs and Koni inserts, then re-installed the factory springs I managed to blow my front struts(don't ask how, but I am convinced it has something to do with the person who installed the inserts). Anyways, I'm going to have to replace the front struts....my local Honda dealer has offered me a really good deal on 4 new struts and springs for the complete set. The catch is, it's the "performance" kit they offered for 2002 EX's(I assume it's for LX too)and there is some sort of variation on part numbers between the two of them. I'm convinced the variation is simply due to the fact it is an "upgrade package" and not because there is a difference in the EX and LX suspension. Am I right? Do the EX and LX springs/struts interchange?

Thanks!

ya the LX/EX springs/struts are exactly the same. theres slight differences in the rear 01 vs 02 tho.
n there is a performance package that is offered for the EX, its suppose to lower the car about an 1" or so.
but last time i heard they werent selling it in peices, you had to get it with the car.

Apparently the kit they are going to sell me was installed on a car, the car was put on the showroom floor, and then whomever bought it wanted the kit off....also they told me it actually raised the car slightly instead of lowering it as the kit gets bigger wheels?

Do you know what the differences in the 01 and 02 are, and if it's too much of a difference to make this kit work?
