Yet Another Angel Eyes Projector Question...

Of all the people that have these, whose actually work? i was considering getting the black housing ones, but i see a lot of people have them and they don't work (well). I heard if u use the streetglow bulbs they will be fine, but my buddy had them and they kept blowing the headlight fuse out... Any suggestions???? I really want these but not if it's gonna be a huge problem...

well the word is they "SUCK", but many of the people saying these things dont even own a pair, but i and many other people on this website have had good luck with them, my angel eyes actually light up all the way and i have had them for over a month and have not had any problems with them fogging or anything. i also put in some really high wattage bulbs acouple weeks ago and nothing is wrong, the bulb hasnt blown or anything. people also said that the visibility sucks with these, and thats true, only if you dont AIM the headlights. Of course there is going to be a difference between the stock and the angel eyes, its a whole new unit not just a damn bulb. you can judge from the pics that i will attach in a moment how nice they look if they are used correcetly!

Suggestions? Slap your buddy in the eyeball.

The angel eyes have one extra circuit for the ring...other than that you just plug your bulbs + housing into them (the ones I've seen at least). So, are you saying your buddy has been blowing the fuse by using his stock bulbs?!

What am I missing here?

Do the angel eye's you're talking about have their OWN circuits for bulbs???

the problem is in the heat, there is such a small area in there, there is no room for dissepation and it literally frys out the bulb, you can make them work, go with a lesser wattage streetglow h4 bulb and you will be fine

first off, you cant use a H4 in a angel eye projector, if you have them you would know, and i have some really high wattage H1's in mine and they havent blown the lense hasnt melted or anything... people that dont know about these things should stop talking...

I agree with Importracer, unless you've got the goods "Shut your mouth!", lol

Anyways, like Importracer said, I ahve Xenon Fusion H1's for my high and low, also Xenon turnsignals, and peanut bulbs, I blew one headlight in the first 2 months, but my car shop gives me a 90-day warranty on my bulbs (I might have even touched the bulb with my fingers by accident).

As for visibility, stock headlights are like twice as bright, but you'll definately be sporting the true projector style, when at night people ask, "Is that a BMW.......no its a Civic!", hahahaha

my friend wired up everything correctly... i double checked it for him. the pass. side headlight kept blowing. he tried the PIAAs, Catz, and stock bulbs and they all did the same thing. Could it just be a fluke? He has the style that has the 3 lenses, all the same size... i don't know what brand. it's not the style like the one posted here...

I feel the same, if you dont have the angel eye projectors dont try to say what you think. I had them on my car and both sides of mine blew twice and then my pass. just blew again so i took them out and put in my stock and cleared them out for now. just my projectors were blowing nothing else. so if someones angel eye is going out then they might have hooked them up to a high wattage output for it. for the DIY i was thinking of getting the wire that glows and just custom make them like that but use the wire and then just go be hind the bumbe so it gives a little light behind the upper grill. haven't done that yet so i dont know what im going to do.
