Dent Removal?

Hey,

If this isn't the correct forum for this type of question I apologize. Anywho, I recently just purchased a 2002 EX Sedan its Nighthawk Black Pearl and totally stock. Now that you have a visual on my car try to imagine the hood with 2 tiny almost undetectable dimples, about the radius of a gold ball, on it. One of my drunken idiot friends, thought it would be a riot to jump on the hood of my 2-week-old car, as sort of a funny joke, you know? No! Didn't think so. Besides a good *** beating I am going to make him pay to have the dents removed. Only I am 17 and have no clue where to look or what to expect regarding prices? Any help would be appreciated. I will try to get some pics of the dents if I can. I am not sure they will show up on a camera, yes they are that unnoticeable, but I still know there are there. Thanks!

Beer - the cause of (and solution to) all of life's problems.
- Homer Simpson, truly a king among men.

Sorry about the dents man, I have a few myself - a friend of mine actually opened his door right into my driver's side door. Huge ding. Man did I get him back for that though, and he's never really walked properly since. My advice to use is follow my example and tear that boy a new hole. Well, after he gives you the money to fix it, I mean ...

for real. i agree with vilinman. i was drunk and let one of my best friends drive my car because he had only had a few and can hold his liquor. anyway, he is an unreal driver, whips his turbo jetta around like it anit **** and i feel completly safe with him. he came to a rolling stop in the back of another friends car and my light shifted and a couple scratches. he offered to pay but i said no, he felt bad enough. i was able to fix it myself and it looks perfect. i am way to close to my friends back home to let a few "unnoticable" dents cause a fist fight. damn.

Take it to a Dent Wizard and get an estimate, and decide from there. They do amazing work, and they're not terribly expensive. They just pulled about 25 fairly noticable dings out of my car because of a hail storm. There is no possible way anyone can tell, it's perfect. If he's a really good friend, I'd probably just eat the cost. If he's not, then get the $$.

Yah one *** beating was probably enough. He offered to pay for it, many times, but I dunno if I will hold him to it. I am still undecided. It all depends on the $$ or $$$$ figures. Thanks for the input and suggestions guys.

open your hood, take some dry ice, apply to the underside of the dents. it should contract the metal just enough to pop the dents back out without harming the paint. work great on some hail damage i got to my civic. 2 very impotant details that you cant forget:

wear gloves so you dont freeze your fingers

when your through popping out the dents, take the remaining dry ice and shove it up your friends a$$

1st beat his ***, 2nd beat his ***, 3rd beat his *** again then make him your bitch to smack around whenever you feel like it, he'll be begging for the privelage to pay for the repairs.

It's different if you make the decision to let a freiend drive your car and something happens, especially with alchol involved. But, to have a friend get drunk and think it would be funny to jump on your hood, that is another thing entirely, hell yeah he should pay for it, right after you beat his ***.

Well the only reason I really wasn't too upset with him was because I too was drunk. He knowning I wouldn't be willing to kill him and myself, jumped on the hood of the car, got me to park it, then took my keys away. I know I should be thanking him for what he did, and I did indeed, but he should have just layed in front of the car or something, I know civics arn't that heavy.

Thanks for the suggestions tho guys. DryIce? Really! I will have to give that one a try. Of course I will have to try it on my mom's car first.
