Turbo manifold...
My buddy is giving me his t-25 turbo from his 97 Eclipse GSX. The car itself only has 29,000 miles on it and an old lady drove it (he just purchase the eclipse used from her). He's giving it to me because he's buying a t-28 which is a direct bolt up. Now the turbo is in near perfect condition, seeing how I desperately want boost, I think I just scored big time. Now...I did some research and according to HKS, their turbo manifold is a direct bolt up to a Garret T-25 turbo. If I buy this manifold, the Apexi S-AFC and a custom fab intake system, you think I'll have a fully functional, maybe even fast car? The default setting on the eclipse is somewhere between 14-16psi. I only want to run around 7 psi, at least until I end up doing a rebuild (will be after warranty). You think this a good idea?

yeah the whole warranty thing, i kinda saw that after i posted
do you recommend i change to 550cc injectors and even add an inline or in-tank fuel pump? i dont think i have to worry about ignition at all, should i be getting cam gears? by the way, if i do the apexi s-afc, i'd be buying the avc-r boost controller as well

"HKS announced product news for the following items at this weekend's NOPI nationals....
1. HKS will offer a turbo manifold for 2001 and 2002 Civic EX. The cast manifold will have a T25 flange and will be available in the winter, pricing still yet TBD. Using a GT2510 turbo, upgraded (return) fuel system and intercooler, the prototype manifold helped produce over 200 h.p. at the wheels. "
LINKY
TURBO - Here it shows the near $2k for the T25 flange turbo. I save this much, I think it's worth it lol, hopfully it bolts up, if not, custom manifold

Has anyone on this site seen this as well? Indulge us with your knowledge I will be doing this soon, you think there's a better manifold/method out there?
like i said before, everyone start saving up because by this spring SKR Performance will have a full turbo set up WITH return line fuel system for around 6 grand. it will be the best kit you can get for our cars.

thats a lil too much, if i were spending that much one an engine upgrade, even though its great, i dont think i would have boughten a civic, the only reason why im wanting to do mine is because i have my hands on a turbo for free
Civicpunker, best kit compaired to what other kits? and for 6 grand, what kind of turbo, move info about b.o.v, wastegate.... and how is how would this kit be better then a costom turbo set up? and does that return fuel system come with the FMU, better fuel pump, high pressure fuel lines....? I'm not going to spend 6 grand when I could do it for less myself unless that is one mighty fine turbo set up.
