okay i need to ask WHY for the amount of money you wouls spend on doing that you could really have built your lx , btw when it comes to racing a 2k1 ex v.s lx its all in the driver

Rep Power: 0 well it would honestly be cheaper to completely swap an EX engine than just swap the heads..you can find an EX on ebay for about $750-850 now and then...it would be about 4-5 hours labor at a good shop to swap it for you...but WHY??? Getting your cam reground will have the same effect but a slightly rougher idle....the vtec cams in the ex's aren't all that agressive..
