I just did mine saturday morning. if you run them from inside your fenders, and over your fenderwell, they will end up just under the body frame behind the headlight housings, the wires you need to splice to are right there. Never see the wires in your engine bay.
I think you have to match the black ground wires and normally you would do green to green for it to flash when turning and not stay on....as for the ghetto look of leaving them on with the parking lights, I dunno. Probably the third colored wire you find in there since I can't think of any other wires needed for the lighting....
Kidding about the ghetto reference, BTW. Good luck. I just did a set of SiR on my 2001 and they look good. Wish someone had a template to make them fit just right though....the shape is different and I had a hell of a time with the dremel tool....looks pretty factory though. BTW: cover any exposed metal from cutting the fender REALLY WELL. I've seen moisture turn to rust real fast depending on where you live.

The only way I was able to hook mine up was either when the blinker is on they will blink or when the parking lights are on they turn on. Is there a way on this 7th gen civic to hook it up so they will stay on and blink also.
