water pump?

I have read that a electric water pump can give any where from 5-20 hp gain. Because it does not run on the pulleys steeling power from your engine. And that they are better at keeping your engine cool. true or fales check this link. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/08/electricwaterpump/index.shtml thanks.

theat pump only last 2000 hours, which isn't really that long IMO, the car would definitly last longer then that piece, it just seems sketchy to me. but that is just me.
