try turning the dimmer all the way down, if it doesnt make a difference then you hooked up the dimmer (potentiometer) wrong...if it does make a difference i would check your connections, make sure there arent any shorts and I'd solder your connections if possible.

do you have the 6 color gauges or the the 2 color gauges? I have the 6 color gauges and there is a button that changes the color and how bright you want your gauges.

You also want to make sure the car is turned on and running. The regular indiglos I got from autodynamic.com turn off and flicker without constant power. Sometimes when I have the stereo on they start messing up. It's also like they need alternator power or something.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
make sure you get power from the red with black wire. I had my old gauges hooked up to the solid red wire and I had to turn the dimmer all the way down, and eventually the indiglos burnt out. Now that i hooked it up to the red wire with black stripe they work perfectly, and my new gauges have their own dimmer **** which is sweet!

Have you tried looking at them at night or are you trying to see them in the sunlight?
