I need help THIS INSTANT: THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT! (about s-afc and ecu wiring)

Hey guys I need help RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!!
I started to do my APEXi S-afc and I accidently cut my throttle sensor wire.
I also did not use the bottom connector I used the main harness (the one you don't slid out, it's up in front)
I don't think it matters much because it's the same wire I believe so anyways it's really really hard for me to re-connect it. I then started my car because I felt really tired and see if it'll be ok in the morning. It worked fine but the idle was really bad, obviously the throttle sensor. So I connected it as best as I could and started her up, it was the same. Then after a moment I started her up and nothing. But 2mins before when the wire wasn't connected at all it started, but now it doesnt start with or without the wire connecting.
My friend tells me I coulda blew my throttle sensor wire, but how is that possible?
I think it's jus that it's not connected well and that if I use 12v wires to connect the two split ends it'll be ok.
I also did NOT FINISH installing the Safc.

IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING THEY CAN TELL ME MY AIM IS - SpoonSport12
PLEASE I am scared, if you have any information tell me on this thread. THANKS A LOT!

Doh!
The 12volt won't work because the wires in ecu are accounted by guages not volts...
come on anyone....please.......

tap the end of the wire with the voltmeter and try starting your car... If you get no voltage, then you know where your problem is.

I dont got volt meter. and the engine doe snot turn on

I think I got an idea tho how does this sound:

I reset ecu put back the wire as best as possible and start it...you think it'll be ok?

ALSO, NOT FINISHING THE AFC, does that make a differance?
Im asking that because after wha happened im scared outa my mind.

Ok now it will start but sputters big time.
def the throttle body sensor, but the wire is hooked up with a butt and it's pretty good on there.
I think it's the way it's hooked on there, it's not back to original with the connecter.

Anywayz, you think I mite of made it bad by starting it while the line was disconnected? Cuz it started even when the wire was disconnected, it accutally started better than is now when it was connected.

LET ME TELL YOU THIS:
THE ECU IS A VERY VERY COMPLEX WORLD......DO NOT JUS ATTEMPT IT, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

Disconet the sensor and get the ohm reading for it. Post it so we can see if its in spec. You mite just have a bad connection. Your always better of spliceing the wire with those 3m connectors. When I cut a wire I always soldier it if I can...

Sorry for spelling just woke up.....

If I remember correctly, the TPS sensor is basically a resistor. By using a "butt" to connect the cut wires you may have increased the resistance so the ECU never get's a signal that's "in-range". Take off the connector and splice the two wires together...then solder it. Hopefully that'll do it.

Thanks for the input.
I resetted the ecu and ran with it for a while it was sooooo nasty.... I was cryin the whole time.
Then afterwards it ran pretty back to normal after shut down.
But I think I can still feel it loose and my check engine light is on.
I'll see how it goes tomorrow Im gettin a pro to put it on no more of that for me.

Whenever the ECU detects a problem it will display the check engine light. It'll stay illuminated until it is reset. Even if you've fixed the problem the check engine light will stay on because the codes are stored in memory.
