Angel Eye Headlights
Hey I was wondering anyone who has angel eye projectors if the beam pattern is as good/better then the oem headlights. The reason I ask is I had a '99 civic before my '02 and had projectors on it that were sh#t, but everyone raved about how good they were. I ended up seling them on ebay for half of what I paid for them, and putting my oem's back on that were twice as bright. So if anyone could post there feelings (good or bad) about them to help me decide I would be thankful.
I would have to say you'll get a 50/50 response on this one. I have the blue angel eyes on my civic and love them. Yes, the low beam bulbs did burn out after a month, but I've replaced them with the STOCK 55w bulbs and no problems since. Keep in mind they come with the bulbs in them allready, and whoever put them in may have got their fingers on them, causing them to burn out prematurlly. The progectors are way brighter than stock, high and low beam. The beam pattern is wider than stock as well. I love mine!

Thanxs for the response, another question.... How does the halo light ring light up, does it use a blub? If so is it hard to replace?
Also do the angel eyes use factory style H4 blubs low, or are they like my old projectors using a H3 fog light blub for the low beam?
Thanxs again for the reply, Jason

You wire the halo into your parking lights, that way you can have them on w/o your headlights. With the headlights on you can barely see it, which is a good thing cause blue lights are illegal in my state. I know they take there own bulb, not sure if you can replace it. Wish it was a little brighter. THe bulbs for the headlight are H1, 55w for low beam and 100w for high beam.

Hey fuledya,
do you have the one where you have three lights instead of the four light system, cause i have the 3 light system and my lowbeams keep blowin. im blown.
is there any way that i can fix this, I know i didn't touch the bulbs and i was told that maybe an electrician can go and check out the wiring and see if they can put something in to even out the power,
I love my head lights and i dont wanna sell them

HAH You shouldn't expect to get that much for something that is used, let alone burnt out.
Some time ago, I bought an X-Box , but decided return it and get a PSOne complete portable system the next day, so I can play while I sit in hour-long traffic. Guess what. EB only gave me store credit from only 50% of what I paid for the X-box.
Bought X-box Thursday for $250. Returned on Friday the next day, and received $125 store credit.

my angel eyes aren't as bright as stock. one of my halos is burned out and i have no clue how to replace it. i might just disconnect them altogether. the high beam is definitely brighter than stock but the normal beam doesn't seem as bright to me, especially when it rains. i like the way they look though so i'm gonna stick with them. after all, why spend $$$ on something and not use it. just my 2 crnts though
