Honda techs please help
Hey I have a question, but first let me explain.
Today it's been raining. The roads where slick on my way to class. While I was on my way to my University, I came up to a light and this cabby tailgates me. I get a little pissed and wait for the green. I floor my whip and release the clutch and let the wheels spin. Suddenly I notice the car start to shake like a motherfuucker for like 2 seconds. I was only at like 3500 or 4000 RPM in first gear, and I cant seem to firgure out why the car shaked so bad. I have read threads about this before, but I cant remember the reason for why. As I continued driving through downtown chicago and noticed no differences. Is there something I can buy to prevent this? My old protege NEVER did this in the rain, all I would hear are the wet tires spinning on the wet street. I know it's bad, bad for the car, bad for the interior to shake like a biitch, but what exactly is happening when the car does this?
Thanks you guy, you all are the best.

thankyou. how much would they cost? Basically, you were suffering from a lack of traction. Then when the tires started to grab, the torque was transferred to the suspension and the motor mounts.
Not exactly bad, but not good on the motormounts either. It can be lessoned by adding a limited slip diff, but loosing traction on wet roads will still happen.
It will get worse on turns or when your wheel is turned, then the torque is being transferred between both wheels unequally.
Just lay off the gas on wet roads and realize that anytime you spin the tires you are not helping. On a front wheel drive car you are loosing your control over the vehicle.
