well exhaust will not void a transmission warranty. if you have headers take it off and put the OEM back and your set to get it fixed.

Damn only 25K thats jacked up well your tranny warranty should not be voided bitch slap them and tell them to fix it now cuz exhaust has nothing to do with the drivetrain of the car!!!

Try going to other Honda Dealerships if you have problems with this one. I don't know how true this is but I've read it on this site many times: Aftermarket parts cannot void warranties unless they can prove that they caused the malfunction. Anyhow. Do you have an Auto? I'm assuming so ,and how did it blow? Were you redlining it all the time?

A lot of people have been blowing their trannies VERY early on this site. I'm assuming it's just kids that don't know how to drive or are constantly redlining it thinking nothing will happen. What's the deal?

Yeah, the exhaust shouldn't void the warranty. Get 2 or 3 opinions and then go from there. Maybe find out what caused it to go out...i.e. driving style. If you're a little rough w/ it, an automatic transmission cooler and different driving style is a good idea. Just curious, how have you been driving it?....any neutral drops, brake torquing, or "manually" shifting it?.....or were you just driving normally the whole time and it went out? (that sucks)

It is a Federal Law

Take this in and slap this on the counter. See if they argue with the government too. Your exhaust has nothing to do with the transmission, and if they can prove that it does, I'd really like to know how.

Hah! I still hold the record! 14,527 exactly when my second gear went out on me! sux *** dropping shift between 1st and 3rd... I had intake and exhaust when it went out and they said NOTHING about my warranty being voided. Transmission is not affected whatsoever by a different intake/header/exhaust systems. The torque in our car would never be enough to be terms for a warranty void situation.

Car dealers are notorious for their unethical practices. Remember that! Do you know why? Because THEY would rather save themselves money instead of helping you! For no reason what-so-ever should you allow them to acuse you of anything when they can't prove shyt in the first place!

Neutral droping: If you say you don't, then you don't.
Racing a stock engine: Slap the bastard that said that. No one in the right mind would even THINK of someone racing a stock engine unless they thought of you as a complete idiot! My dealer would be suspicious of racing if I had an aftermarket header which makes more sense! Whoever said this definitely is not taking you seriously. I think I would report this person to their supervisor and if it is the boss, then I would do that or just go to another dealer in another city.
Tires worn from peeling out: 25,000 miles on STOCK FIRESTONES = TEH END OF YOUR TIRES FROM NATURAL WEAR. I guess this also coincides with "neutral dropping". See how they can try to pin shyt on you? This is true bullshyt. They are Firestones! Even dealers know that they use the cheapest tire to SAVE themselves $. Even if your tires were slightly deflated, by now they are gone. Ask ANYONE here who had had their car for 20k miles plus with stock tires. Do they expect them to last 50k? Bullshyt!

Don't be punked out of this. Get your car fixed and don't pay a penny.
