GREETINGS!!!

I have a 01' DX automatic sedan, I was wondering has anyone tried swapping the center console to a 03 or 02 console?
The main reason why I want to swap out the console is because I've notice that the EX center piece has a lid covering the cup holders and that would be really nice to put a little 5.8" LCD screen that I could keep under that lid (custom work of course must be done) I really don't want to put a in dash motorized flip out screen. at least in the cup holder lid piece it would be hidden away really clean and neat.
help me guy guys your advise and comments would be grateful, thanks!!

do a seach. I know plenty of people here have the screens infront of the cup holders, its nothing new. Do a search and maybe PM some of them who have it. Good luck

Im pretty sure that its possible. I was before going to create my own custom center console, but starting college I have been low on money. But I have built a custom rear console, and Im going to build a custom box where my backseat used to be and built it into the sides and then put fiberglass molding over that hopefully by febuary. In the center console, Id like to get rid of where my cup holders are and put a 5.6" screen and then where the lil pockets thing are near the back all my switches, and in the sides put some small speakers, maybe some 5" speakers unless they are too big, not really measured or anything, just some thoughts, and if yall have any thoughts too, just say them here, thanks!

The flip up cup holder you are talking about is the same in the Aussie 02 GLi sedan, maybe one of those would
slip straight in seeing that its the same year model and all. Having a screen on the underside of that would be a great
