removing rivets from door for power window motor

removing rivets from door for power window motor

Does anybody know how to remove them or what I need to remove them from the door so I can get the power window motor out? Its on a 97 grand am by theway. thanks

drill it out .... i had to install new window motors in an older model traiblazer before and i had to drill out the rivets .. then u'r gonna have to find some screws to replace those rivets ... make sure when u'r doing all this .. u do it with a friend ... i made the mistake to do it by myself and it was a pain in the *** .. cuz i had to hold everything down by myself ..!

Macko is an unknown quantity at this point
most likely you can drill them out, cause in most cases there are Auxilary screw holes for machine screws after teh rivets are drilled out...that's why thins get sold as "rebuilt"
