Anyone ever installed 6" Hi power lights?

Hey All, first time posting here so please bare with me . My 2002 Civic Sedan EX is used mostly for work, I drive many miles a day (100+) and it's usually on low traffic desolate 2 lane roads. Driving these roads at night can be very dangerous with the amount of wild life that roams around (deer, cows etc.). I was wondering if anyone has ever installed 6" round hi power lights, or something similar on their cars? I had a VW Rabbit once I mounted some 100 watt KC's on the bumper that lite up the night like day light, it also gave it an amusing rally racing look . Ofcourse on a 2002 civic, you wouldn't want to just mount big lights on the bumper because it's not really possible. I was kind of thinking something along the lines of how this neon has them. Does anyone make an aftermarket front bumper that would fit large lights? Or does anyone have any ideas or opinions on doing this? Thanks!!!

ah man, I've seen them at this site, can't remember what it was, the bumper has a huge opening for the lights, kinda like the rally cars I guess, but if I find it later I'll send it to you, but I'm almost positive I've seen it on the 7th gen civics!

If you want... they make a bumper for the application... foglights are optional if you want the ones they have or want your own put in. the JT Evo 3 its called.

BTW, welcome to the site.

Thanks for the info on the bumper, that ones a bit too gawdy (sp?) for my taste, I'm not looking to steer to far from stock. I prefer a more refined look than total customization. I'll keep looking to see if there is anything else out there. Perhaps I'll someday just cut holes in the stock bumper and do it that way, not sure if I can bring myself to doing that though.

you should see if you can find someone's OEM bumper that they've replaced with a body kit. then you can set yours aside and mangle the hell out of the new one.

Great idea!

Any idea what one of those is going for? I would think most people would about give them away since they won't be using them anymore. Would be nice to find one that is the same color too. I'll look around.

Thanks!
