Broken retaining pin in wheel win.

Broken retaining pin in wheel win.
Ok so today I was trying to get the retaining pin in the wheel well out to get to my corner lights. I followed the instructions in the owners manual, but when I inserted the flathead screwdriver it popped the head of the retaining pin off. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have suggestions for me on how to get it out?

Rep Power: 0 I had the same thing happen. Just get a pin punch the same size as the pin in the center of the broken clip. Push in on the broken pin, the broken piece will come out on the inside of the fender then you can remove the clip.
