E Brake Aluminum Handle from eBay, How to Install?

Anyone ever bought one of these and have actually installed in their Civic 2 or 4 Door model?
If so, how?? Instructions would be nice.

pop the silver top off with a flat head... cut the stock handle off with a sharp knife... put the aluminum handle next to it so you know where you have to cut... make sure you cut it straight... when your done just slide the aluminum handle over and tighten the screws and your done... by the way the TYPE-R is a sticker i suggest u not stick it on the handle... i have that handle but the chrome one it looks cool...

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Please tell me youre not putting a TPYE R handle on your car!!! anyways, to each his own.... I put a carbon fiber handle on mine.. I had to first cut the plastic sleeve off, then I had to use a hacksaw to cut some metal off, you'll see what I mean once you cut the plastic. THen I used a file and the handle just barely fit, but I like it. Good luck with your install!

but how did you get it passed the button on the brake handle? Know which one I'm talking about? The button you push in to lower the lever is bigger than the hole for the handle to slide through. Did you have to pop off the button or what?
