There is a special tool that you can purchase from Snapon called a crank pulley holder. It costs $62, but let me tell you, it is worth it's weight in gold. I broke one breaker bar so far, but it was on it's way out anyways. I tried using an impact wrench, but also had no luck, once I put the pulley holder in there w/ the breaker bar, about 5 seconds later i was sliding it off =)

If you are in the MA area I can give you a hand if need be.

i took mine off this weekend. It's not to bad, I put a screwdriver in the flywheel and had a buddy hits the breaks aswell and i just used a socket wrench and a cheater bar. It took some force but it came off without breaking anytools and it didn't hurt the flywheel.
